New Management Hub

The International Quidditch Association (IQA) is excited to announce a series of new features for the Management Hub, developed in collaboration with Arteveldehogeschool, a University of Applied Sciences in Belgium. This partnership, facilitated by Joke Daems, brought together students (referred to as AVS and WV) and IQA’s team—including Marian Dziubiak and Andrés Vargas Beato—to enhance the platform’s capabilities over a three-month project. The result? A more robust, user-friendly hub designed to support tournament committees, team managers, and quidditch volunteers worldwide.

Key Updates

1. National Teams: Creation and Participation

  • Create National Teams: Users can now create national teams using the same process as club teams, simply by selecting “National” in the team type tab.
  • Join National Teams: Players can join national teams alongside their club teams, with no restrictions based on their current National Governing Body (NGB).

2. Team Management

  • Add/Delete Team Managers: NGB Managers can now assign team managers to all teams within their NGB, streamlining team administration.

3. Tournaments: A New Interface

The most significant addition is the Tournaments module, accessible via this Tournaments link or the main menu. This feature simplifies the organization, promotion, and management of tournaments, providing a centralized platform for all event-related activities.
